Webinar «Russia and ASEAN: cooperation in the supply of certified halal products»

On May 27, 2021, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the International Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal" with the support of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council organized and conducted a webinar "Development of cooperation between Russia and ASEAN in the supply of certified halal products".
The webinar was attended by more than 150 representatives of government authorities, certification organizations and agencies, as well as representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat and the business leaders from Russia and the ASEAN member states.
There were two sessions were organized within the meeting. The first session was devoted to the requirements for halal certification in the export of products from the Russian Federation to the ASEAN countries. Within the second session, companies from Russia and the ASEAN countries presented their products, services, as well as projects in the field of food, agricultural and cosmetic products.
