19th Meeting of ASEAN Business Advisory Council and Joint Business Councils

The Russia-ASEAN Business Council participated in the 19 ASEAN Business Advisory Council Joint Business Councils’ meeting via videoconference on February 14, 2022.
Heads of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, ASEAN Business Club, ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN BAC Joint business councils as well as representatives of sectorial and regional associations attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed sustainable development projects according to ESG standards, digital transformation of the economy, the climate action projects, as well as measures to restore business activity and promote trade and investment.

Conference dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Russia and Thailand Diplomatic Relations
The year 2022 will mark a significant milestone for Russia and Thailand. More than a century and a quarter ago the two nations decided to get engaged in friendly relations. To commemorate this significant date, MGIMO (Russia) and Thammasat University (Thailand) are conducting a joint conference on the history and current state of Russian-Thai relations. The event will be held on February 21-22 in a hybrid format.
