ASEAN-Russia Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting

On March 29, 2022, the Russia-ASEAN Business Council took part in the 20th Russia-ASEAN Joint Cooperation Committee meeting. The event was held via videoconference.
The meeting participants discussed the results of joint work in 2021, as well as plans and prospects for cooperation for 2022, new areas of interaction on a wide range of economic, scientific, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation within the framework of the Year of Scientific and Technical Cooperation announced by the heads of Russia and the ASEAN member states.
The Business Council presented proposals to enhance cooperation on the climate agenda and presented proposals to enhance cooperation on the climate agenda and ESG standards, digital transformation, infrastructure and finance.
