On April 8, 2026, special event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the dialogue relations between Russia and ASEAN was held in Moscow. The event was organized by the Russia–ASEAN Business Council, the Museum of the Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service of Russia and the AURUS company.

The event was attended by the Ambassadors of the ASEAN Moscow Committee and diplomats representing the embassies of ASEAN countries. The program opened with a guided tour of the museum, during which the guests got acquainted with a unique collection of cars covering the periods of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and modern Russia.

The official part of the event was opened by Ivan Polyakov, Chairman of the Russia–ASEAN Business Council, and Igor G. Bailen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Russian Federation, Chairman of the ASEAN Moscow Committee, who stressed the importance of strengthening partnership and friendly relations between Russia and the ASEAN member countries.

The event also included a presentation of the Russian premium car brand AURUS, as well as a test drive of AURUS cars for the heads of diplomatic missions of the ASEAN member states.
