Working trip of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council delegation to Yekaterinburg

The Russia-ASEAN Business Council and the delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia took part in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM-2022, which is taking place in Yekaterinburg on July 4-8.

 

Within the framework of the working trip the delegation visited one of the leading high-tech Russian enterprises of transport engineering - the plant "Ural Locomotives" in Sverdlovsk region, which is a part of the diversified holding Sinara group.

 

The participants of the delegation visited the production facilities of the mainline electric freight locomotives and high-speed electric trains Lastochka of various modifications, and also got acquainted with the production base of the plant and the presented components. During the working meeting with the plant management the delegation was informed about the current projects for the production of urban transport, including electric trains running on the Moscow Central Ring, and the work on the international markets.

 

They also discussed the prospects for implementing joint projects to develop urban and intercity transport infrastructure in Cambodia, taking into account the competencies and capabilities of the Ural production base of the Ural Locomotives plant.

Conference dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Russia and Thailand Diplomatic Relations

The year 2022 will mark a significant milestone for Russia and Thailand. More than a century and a quarter ago the two nations decided to get engaged in friendly relations. To commemorate this significant date, MGIMO (Russia) and Thammasat University (Thailand) are conducting a joint conference on the history and current state of Russian-Thai relations. The event will be held on February 21-22 in a hybrid format.
